This is a slice of nostalgia that took me back to the 80s . We were traveling through georgia when we found this gem and decided to eat. We got the burger, spaghetti, steak. And chicken stripe and if course the chicolate cake. It was all good, not great, but good. It's average bar and grill level food like you find at Applebee's or chili's. I have to remember that nostalgia set the bar of expectation a bit high but all in all it was very good food with great servers. Food came out as fast as expected with this style restaurant. My regret was that I ordered from the menu and not the buffet. It's small but it looked great i just was not in the mood for fried chicken or pot roast, pretty much the two main meat offerings. The prices were very decent and we got a lot of food for that price.

We were so excited to see a Breakfast Rice on the buffet. I had to ask about it and "Ty" said it is a popular item with locals including scrambled eggs and sausage with the rice. WOW!!!

We love this restaurant enough to drive over an hour one way to eat here. The breakfast bar on Thursday nights is our favorite, but all are good. The staff is very friendly, whether on the phone or in the restaurant. Both food and service are great. It has become our favorite restaurant! (Bonus! The peach cobbler is amazing!). I hope they never lose their southern country charm and wonderful food.

We love Shoney's but this was better than usual. Got breakfast, salad and lunch plus the best ice cream cone. All staff was nice and friendly

Today was our first visit to Shoney’s. The food was good, I was impressed to see they had arugula and Spanish as their leafy greens for their salad options! That was really great! Most places go for the cheaper option! So that really made us happy to see! The chicken was very flavorful and so good! The soup was beyond flavorful! The banana pudding was delicious as well!!! But most impressive of all was our waitress, Frances, she was extremely attentive, kept our drinks filled, and even offered us to go drinks, she had a great rapport and made you feel like you were a good friend or part of the family! Because of her, we will come back and ask to be seated in her area!!! Good service speaks volumes in my book! She is the type of person you want to be the face of your company!! Thank you Frances for making us feel welcome and taking such great care of us! It was a pleasure meeting you!! Give this location a chance and definitely ask to be seated in Frances’ section!!!
